Rita Ora and Gerard Butler ‘hooked up’ at a hotel in Hollywood after sharing a little dinner date, according to reports.

According to Us Weekly, Gerard and Rita enjoyed a night at a West Hollywood hotel in January, with the pair sharing an ‘intimate dinner’ at the hotel’s four-star restaurant.

An onlooker told them: “They drank wine and she hugged him when he returned to the table from a break.

“Gerard paid the bill.”

A friend of Gerard’s claimed the actor is ready to date again after splitting from Morgan Brown, his girlfriend of more than a year.

The friend said: “He’s totally single and ready to get back out there.”

Rita reportedly split from Ricky Hilfiger in July last year.

A source has, however, denied the rumours that Gerard and Rita are more than friends, telling E! News: “They are just friends and there is nothing romantic going on.

“They have known each other for a while. They had dinner and nothing more.”
