Rita Ora set for Celebrity Gogglebox and fans can't wait

The singer will be on the programme with her sister

Rita Ora is swapping the stage for the sofa for a stint on Celebrity Gogglebox - and fans can not wait.

The Praising You singer, 32, will have a go at being an armchair critic on the Channel 4 programme, alongside her big sister Elena.

Promo snaps show the star curled up on a red and white chair alongside her sibling, sparking excitement among viewers who are looking forward to seeing Rita mulling over the latest small screen offerings.

One posted on Twitter: “So excited to see you on Celebrity Gogglebox tonight!! Ahhh.”

Another said: “@RitaOra and Elena doing Gogglebox is gunna (sic) be so funny.”

“Gogglebox is my fave show so this is the best of both worlds colliding,” posted another fan.

Others stars on the show will include Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones from Dragons’ Den.

They are just some of the big names who have signed up for a turn on the latest series of the TV hit, including Davina McCall, Gregg Wallace and Greg James and Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer from N-Dubz.

Some fans of the hip hop trio were unimpressed when they were on earlier in July, complaining that they didn’t get much screen time.

"I’m fuming, watched it for them and you hardly show them compared to every one else!!!" one viewer ranted on Twitter, as another asked if there was any point in having them on if they weren’t going to be shown much.

"Come on C4 you can't have guests on the show then not give them any airtime!!" said someone else.

Gogglebox airs at 9pm on Channel 4 on Friday (14 July).
