Roads Under Water as Approaching Cyclone Michaung Drenches Chennai

Streets in Chennai were under water on Monday, December 4, as the intensifying Cyclone Michaung drenched the city as it neared India’s east coast.

The India Meteorological Department said the storm would intensify while moving north, before reaching land near Bapatla in the state of Andhra Pradesh on December 5.
