All of the roadworks hitting Coventry streets this week

Drivers are being warned that they could face road closures and traffic lights on streets across Coventry this week. The city council has updated its list of all of the roadworks taking place over the coming days.

The list includes all of the planned road closures as well as temporary traffic lights. It could cause disruption to journeys and motorists are being urged to plan ahead.

The works are for everything from installation of new pipes to surveys. The full list of roadworks is as follows:

Monday, May 13

  • Road closure - Clifford BridgeRoad link to A46. From 10pm until 6am. In place until Wednesday, May 15.

  • Two- way signals - Mayflower Drive

  • Two-way signals - Beake Avenue at the junction with Rylston Avenue. In place from 9.30am until 3.30pm until May 17.

  • Three-way signals - Westwood Heath Road at the junction with Farthing Walk

  • Three-way signals - Broad Lane

  • Lane closure - Birmingham Road its junction with Pickford Green Lane

Tuesday, May 14

  • Three-way signals -Regent Street.

  • Two-way signals - Lythalls Lane at the junction with St Lukes Road In place between 9.30am and 3.30pm until May 17

  • Two-way signals - Banner Lane. opposite Tilehurst Drive. Until May 20

Wednesday, May 15

  • Road closure - Elmsdale Avenue junction with Arbury Avenue from 9.30a until 3.30pm.

  • Three-way signals -Parkhill Drive junction with Peregrine Drive

  • Road closure - Hartland Avenue at its junction with Torcross Avenue

  • Road closure - Eaton Road

  • Lane closure - Ringway St Patricks at the junction with Warwick Road

  • Three-way signals - Roosevelt Drive at its junction with Bantock Road.

Friday, May 17

  • Lane closure - London Road at its junction with Bar Road, In place from 9.30am until 3.30pm until May 28.
