Robbie Williams sells two pieces by Banksy for over £7 million
Robbie Williams has sold off two of graffiti artist Banksy's works for over £7 million.
The 'Let Me Entertain You' singer, 47, had put three of the anonymous artist's pieces under the hammer at Sotheby’s: Kissing Coppers, Girl With Balloon and Vandalised Oils (Choppers).
According to the auction house's site, Vandalised Oils (Choppers) — a picture of a peaceful countryside with military helicopters flying above it — fetched a whopping £4,384,900, which was well over the estimated £2,500,000 to £3,500,000.

Girl With Balloon — a 2006 version of the piece that was first seen under Waterloo Bridge in London 20 years ago — had a list price of two to three million and was sold for £2,818,000.
Kissing Coppers, a picture of two policeman locking lips, was withdrawn from the auction.
Chart star Williams announced in January that he was selling off the three pieces, which he said were some of the mysterious artist's 'best paintings'.
The dad-of-four said at the time: “I remember seeing Girl With Balloon, Vandalised Oils (Choppers) and Kissing Coppers for the first time.
“I believe they are some of his best paintings and I love how closely linked they are to the street pieces.
