Rochelle Humes is reportedly set to step in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning while she is away hosting I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

The Saturdays singer is expected to take Willoughby’s place while she fills in for Ant McPartlin on the reality show.

A source told the Sun: “As soon as bosses for This Morning learnt that Holly had accepted the role on I'm A Celebrity they drafted their wish list and Rochelle was at the top.

“Obviously, Holly's are big shoes to fill, but Rochelle has been impressing bosses with her down-to-earth nature and presenting skills for a while now.”

The insider added that Humes is “super excited” and sees the short-stint as a “huge career opportunity”.

Standard Online has contacted ITV for comment.

The speculation comes after Willoughby announced that she will stand alongside pal Declan Donnelly when the jungle show returns later this year.

The TV star told how she feels like she has won a competition after confirming she will be McPartlin’s replacement.

She said she is “excited” to be the chosen presenter, but joked she is “scared of everything that moves”.

In a statement she said: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure.

“I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.”
