Rochelle Humes has told how she was "close to bursting into tears" when a fellow passenger on a plane asked if she would "shut up" her son.

The former Saturdays star, 33, opened up on This Morning as she and her fellow presenter Vernon Kay were talking about the idea of child-free flights.

Mum-of-three Humes revealed that she was "kind of" in that camp before having children but that things were different now.

"However, it didn't really bother me," she said of sharing plane journeys with children before she was a parent.

"I'd have my headphones in, I'd watch a film, I'd get my head down. If I heard it, it is, it's someone else's problem right?"

The TV presenter and her JLS star hubby Marvin Humes now have three children together – daughters Alaia-Mai, nine, Valentina, five, and son Blake, who will be two in October.

"My two girls are very good fliers but my son not so much," she said on the ITV show.

"I had a flight where a guy sort of said something to me like, 'Aren't you going to shut him up?'

"I was that close to bursting into tears."

Humes said that Blake was teething at the time and that she was struggling to settle him down herself when the other passenger weighed in.

The star found fame in pop groups such as the Saturdays and S Club Juniors before moving into TV.
