Roma must overturn a first-leg deficit to stand a chance of reaching the quarter-finals at the expense of Shakhtar Donetsk.

Cengiz Under notched a vital away goal three weeks ago, only for the Ukrainian hosts to roar back through Facunda Ferreyra and Fred, and could have had more on the night.

The Italians have not reached the last eight of the competition in a decade. The last time Shakhtar reached the quarter-finals in 2011, they thumped Roma 6-2 at this stage.
