Rosamund Pike and Robie Uniacke were first linked in 2009 and share two children
Rosamund Pike found a longtime love in boyfriend Robie Uniacke.
The actress and businessman have been linked since 2009 and are parents to two children together: sons Solo and Atom. Uniacke is also a father to four adult kids from prior relationships.
Though the Saltburn star keeps her relationship with Uniacke private, she has opened up about him on occasion, sharing how he helps her prepare for new roles.
"I have a very clever partner who's got a very astute mind and is very, very well read and articulate and ruthless about how something I do might play out on screen," she told The Telegraph in 2014.
She added, "My tendency is to identify with a character and imagine there is more on the page than there is. He's quite good at putting a check on that."
So who is Rosamund Pike’s boyfriend? Here’s everything to know about Robie Uniacke and his relationship with the actress.
He’s been linked to Pike since 2009
Pike and Uniacke have been reportedly dating since 2009. Over the years, she has spoken about marriage and why it hasn't happened for them. Pike was previously engaged to director Joe Wright, and Uniacke was married twice before, according to The Telegraph.
“You try to do the right thing and the conventional thing, and it doesn't work, and then you're free again,” the Gone Girl star told Vogue in December 2012 after welcoming their first child. “It is interesting to break all the rules. I’m not married, I have a baby, and it feels infinitely more right.”
The pair are rarely photographed together, and Pike doesn't often discuss their family in interviews. Still, the Die Another Day star described him as her "other half" in a 2019 conversation with The Guardian.
He shares two children with Pike
Pike and Uniacke welcomed their first son, Solo, in 2012. The couple celebrated the arrival of their second son, Atom, in 2014.
"The good news is they are a team. The bad news is they're quite a naughty team," the mother of two joked on Live with Kelly and Ryan in 2018.
She also told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that while the family is primarily based in London, her boys have already done their share of traveling, including countries like Jordan and Botswana.
At the time, Pike revealed that Solo’s school was “very accommodating” when he needed to be taken out of school "every so often" to travel with her for work.
He has four children from previous relationships
In addition to Solo and Atom, Uniacke is a father to four other adult kids, including daughter Olive Uniacke. He shares one son with ex-wife Emma Howard and three additional children with ex-wife and interior designer Rose Uniacke.
Olive tied the knot to Dane Ensley in a star-studded ceremony in 2022. In addition to her father and Pike, guests at Olive’s nuptials included Dua Lipa, Nicholas Hoult and Poppy Delevingne, according to Daily Mail.
He taught himself how to speak Mandarin
During an interview on The Graham Norton Show in 2021, Pike revealed that Uniacke learned Mandarin so their sons could grow up bilingual.
“I’ve got my kids homeschooling me because my kids speak Mandarin, and I don’t,” she shared.
The Pride & Prejudice actress explained that Uniacke thought it would be “exciting to talk to them in a language he didn’t already know.”
“So he taught himself Chinese from the ground up,” she said. “Well, you could call it brilliant, or you could call it really stubborn, or you could call it a kind of desire for single parenting."
She continued, "He’s basically talking to them in a language that I don’t understand, so I thought maybe lockdown was a good opportunity for me to catch up.”
Pike has previously shared that Uniacke attended Eton College in England and studied mathematics.
He's a supportive partner
Pike says Uniacke is a feminist, “and it’s a thing I prize highly and appreciate daily,” she told The Guardian in 2019.
She went on to express what it means for him to feel assured in their relationship and with her celebrity status.
“Someone who’s self-confident enough and secure enough to deal with this crazy … It is crazy, how our life is,” she added. “Just the constant shifting. The fact we keep any form of routine is quite remarkable, really.”
