Royal Fans Camp Out on Mall Ahead of King Charles Coronation

Royal fans remained camped out on The Mall in London on Friday, May 5, ahead of Saturday’s coronation of King Charles at Westminster Abbey.

Footage recorded by Laerke Christensen shows a row of tents along The Mall – a road in central London that connects Buckingham Palace at its western end and Trafalgar Square via Admiralty Arch to the east – on Friday.

The Met Office forecast rain may fall on Saturday, but said high temperatures would range from 62 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit (17 to 20 Celsius) over the bank holiday weekend. Credit: Laerke Christensen via Storyful
