Royals out in style at Royal Ascot Ladies’ Day

King Charles and Queen Camilla have attended the third day of Royal Ascot, known as Ladies’ Day, where punters are encouraged to add a bit of colour and creativity to their race-going outfits. The Princess Royal, her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, her daughter Zara Tindall, and son-in-law Mike Tindall joined the King and Queen in the royal box. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were also in attendance. The King and Queen, who took on Queen Elizabeth II's racing horses, had a thoroughbred entered in the King George V Stakes. Unfortunately for them, the bay gelding Gilded Water and jockey Tom Marquand could only manage 12th place.
