Yahoo News Rude restaurant experience Karen's Diner is coming to Romford
Karen's Diner, the dining experience known for its cheeky banter and roasts alongside meals, is set to pop up in London next month. The audacious eatery will be in Romford from on June 8 and 9, promising to deliver as much sass as possible.
Promoters describe it as "a truly authentic Karen's experience, put on by the people who know how to do it best, the OG Karens". The sharp-tongued service will kick off with five time slots on the Saturday, starting from 12pm.
The less-than-perfect waiting staff will return for more mischief at Karen's Diner on Sunday, offering five restaurant slots between noon and 8pm for booking.
Jukebox in South Street will play host to Karen's Diner during the popular pop-up event. Patrons can expect the classic insulting hat, games found in the original diners, and hopefully, delicious food, according to the team behind Karen's Diner.
They promise to handle all the insults while serving up a feast. On the booking website the diner said: "Well, well, Karen is in town for one weekend only. It should only take us 48 hours to insult everyone in this city. With this pop-up, you will get a truly authentic Karen's experience, put on by the people who know how to do it best, the OG Karens.
"With the experience, you will get the classic hat and all the games you will find inside the original diners! The venue will provide incredible food (so we hope), and we will take care of all the insults.
"So, to summarise you have 48 hours to get roasted by our OG Karen's; you get the chance to take some insta worthy pics and play the Karen games. You will get a very insulting hat and hopefully some good food, if the food is below par you can complain to our manager (good luck)".
Karen's Diner will cater to allergies and offers vegetarian/vegan options. Dietary preferences are noted upon booking.
