Runcorn and Helsby is a new constituency created for the 2024 general election.

This election will see many new constituencies contested for the first time, following a boundary review last year. One of the newly-created constituencies is Runcorn and Helsby, which covers part of Halton and Cheshire West & Chester.

The seat comprises a number of areas, including Helsby, Frodsham and parts of Halton that were in the abolished constituency of Weaver Vale. It also included the town of Runcorn, the Gowy Rural war (formerly in Ellesmere Port & Neston) and Guilden Sutton (formerly in the City of Chester).

Labour took the seat. You can follow all the results as they come in using our special election tool.
