Russian Factory Workers Star In Ridiculoulsy Sexist Topless Calendar

A calendar featuring male factory workers surrounded by semi-naked women has been branded sexist.

Created by a crane producing plant in Russia, the calendar features staff in a variety of scantily-clad poses with topless models.

The calendar is being distributed free to the clients of the plant in Naberezhnye Chelny in the central Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

It depicts workers and women in a series of risqué poses.

In one image, one woman milks another’s breasts, and in another, men dressed as scientists carry out experiments in a lab on two topless women.

The calendar claims to show “men’s frequent desires” and the women in the images are portrayed as secretaries and nurses - the factory said the shoot “turned out sexy and rich in emotion”.

But others online thought the calendar tacky. One person complained: “You can tell this was thought up by a man.

“A woman would find this as sexy as a bucket of cold sick.”

Despite all the naked female flesh on show, the factory said the calendar had a subliminal message that the plant “is ready to provide services and satisfy the needs of our customers”.

The calendar’s cover girl is Irina, who works at the plant as head of the sales department. For the calendar, she has stripped off her shirt and covers her breasts with her hands.

“We are ready to give our last shirt to our clients,” she said.

The factory has been producing similar calendars since 2008.
