Ruth Langsford has been left very 'hurt' by her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes' close female friendships as the GB News host has been linked to three younger women 'pals' since the pair's shock split.

The former showbiz duo, who previously hosted ITV's This Morning together, left the entertainment world gobsmacked when they revealed they were going their separate ways in May after 14 years of marriage and 27 years as a couple.

Eamonn spoke out about his divorce for the first time last month, confessing: "I'm not OK. This is not a good time at all."

Insiders claim that the Loose Women star has also been left devastated after discovering Eamonn's budding friendship with multiple females who he's been linked to since they went public with their split.

The 64-year-old has been linked to three different women including Katie Alexander and Hayley Sparks in recent weeks.

Speaking to Bella Magazine, a source revealed: "Ruth is in absolute shock. That there is another woman he's turning to is making her wonder how many more there could be.

"It all feels never-ending. She's very hurt by it all - it's like he's been living a secret life all this time. She feels let down. Never would she of thought that he could have done this to her and her family."

They continued: "Everyone is in shock and for Ruth, it's deeply painful. She's so good at putting on a brave face and smiling through it all, but inside, friends know she's struggling.

"Knowing the man she was married to and shared her life and career with is not the man she thought is going to take a long time to get over."

However, Ruth is reportedly open to finding love again and "hasn't ruled out things like dating apps".

An insider claims that friends of Ruth "have been rallying around" her "and telling her to meet someone new".

They added to Best Magazine: "Ruth has been completely shocked by it all. She doesn't feel ready, if truth be told, but she has been left reeling after seeing Eamonn get close to a new woman.

"She never thought in a million years there would be talk of either of them moving on after just publicly announcing their split, but her friends have said that if Eamonn is moving on with someone new, then there's no reason why she shouldn't as well."

Whilst it's not likely that the mum-of-one will go public with a new romance in the near future, her pals have reportedly devised "a long list of men" who they believe could make her happy once she is ready to try again.

Ruth and Eamonn previously tied the knot back in 2010 at Elvetham Hall in Hampshire and later welcomed their first and only child together into the world, their son Jack, who is now 22-years-old.

The GB News presenter also has three older children whom he shares with his first wife Gabrielle Holmes.
