Yahoo News Ryan Reynolds' new movie IF is now streaming on Paramount+
Ryan Reynolds' new movie IF is now available to stream on Paramount+ in the US.
The family film, which is both written and directed by John Krasinski, stars the Deadpool actor as Cal, who helps his young neighbour Bea (Cailey Fleming) after discovering that they're both able to see long-lost imaginary friends (aka IFs).
IF is now available to watch on Paramount+ in the US, following its release in cinemas in May and digital release in the US last month.

The streaming service is yet to confirm when IF will arrive on the platform for UK audiences, but you can pre-order the film from Prime Video and iTunes to be able to watch it as soon as it lands on digital platforms on July 16.
As well as writing and directing the film, Krasinski also stars as Bea’s dad. Other cast members include Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emily Blunt and Fiona Shaw.
Speaking to Digital Spy ahead of the film’s release, Krasinski said that IF didn’t take inspiration from Pixar movies, despite the comparisons.

"I was actually more trying to reference the movies I grew up on, which would be ET or The Goonies. The thing about those movies that was so indelible to me is the idea that they treated me as more than just a kid," he explained.
"That thematically and emotionally I would be able to handle much more as an 8-year-old than the rest of the world thought I could."
Sharing what he’d like audiences to take away from the film, he said: "Hope, honestly. There's this idea that I think everyone goes through, not kids but adults alike, you're alone when you're having your worst day.
"So I think what was great about all these IFs is they were created by kids that needed a friend, and so I think we all need a friend whether we're kids or we're grown-ups."
IF is available to stream on Paramount+ in the US.
