Ryan Reynolds picks up tab as Wrexham players take over Las Vegas nightclub with massive Wales flags

Wrexham FC celebrated their promotion to League One in style as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney paid for the team to party in Las Vegas once again.

The north Walian outfit have now secured back-to-back promotions, having made the jump from the National League to League Two this time last year.

McElhenney said: "I made a couple of promises. I said: 'Hey, if you keep winning, we'll keep paying'. Without consulting my partner here (Reynolds)."

After going all out last year, it seems that no expense was spared yet again. The players arrived in Vegas on Thursday and will be in the Desert Oasis for a few days at least.

Winger Ryan Barnett posted a picture at TAO Asian Bistro with Jordan Davies shortly after the team landed in Sin City. Ben Tozer took a photo of a 'Tornado Warning', with the caption: "They know I'm coming."

James McClean posted photos to his Instagram story documenting the first day. He uploaded pictures from the plane, the city itself, and then a quartet of himself, Ollie Palmer, George Evans and Jack Marriott out for food together.

Wrexham players then made a return to Hakkasan nightclub in Las Vegas, where they partied last year following the historic promotion back to the Football League.

They were treated like royalty once again as the club rolled out the red carpet for them. A montage of clips from the season were played on the big screen in the venue, as the Welsh flag was waved amidst the packed dancefloor.

American rapper Lil Jon performed on the night, as Wrexham partied in their own VIP area. Elliot Lee could be seen recording the epic moment that they were given the heroes' welcome in jubilant scenes at the renowned drinking spot, whilst Arsenal loanee Arthur Okonkwo was sporting a Wrexham scarf around Hakkasan.
