Yahoo News Ryan Reynolds' Welcome to Wrexham confirms release date for season 2
Welcome to Wrexham has finally been given a release date for season two, and fans don't have too long to wait.
The docuseries follows Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney as they attempt to revive and run the third-oldest professional football club in the world, Welsh team Wrexham AFC.
It's now been confirmed that season two of the six-time Emmy nominated series will premiere on Disney+ and Hulu on September 13.

The new season will continue to follow the team's ultimately successful campaign to earn a promotion, as Wrexham AFC was crowned champion of the National League in April 2023, earning them the right to play in League Two for the first time in 15 years.
Shortly after the first season of Welcome to Wrexham aired, Reynolds and McElhenney were honoured with the Diolch y Ddraig (Dragon Award) for promoting Wales and Welsh culture internationally.
"The FAW are absolutely delighted to see Rob and Ryan recognised for their role in these special times for football in Cymru (Wales) and for Cymru’s growing place on the world stage," Noel Mooney, chief of the Football Association of Wales, said in a statment.

In other news, Deadpool 3 has been forced to shut down production amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA actors' strike.
The highly anticipated threequel had begun filming in May, and fans recently received a first look at Hugh Jackman's Wolverine on set with Reynolds.
The film is currently scheduled to be released in May of next year, but that date will most likely be pushed back depending on how long the strike lasts.
Welcome to Wrexham is available to stream on Disney+.
Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are streaming on Disney+. Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has a release date of May 3, 2024.
