Ryan Thomas declares 'back to his roots' as fans spot sweet detail in more wedding snaps

Ryan Thomas and his brother Adam aren't quite over how they spent the recent bank holiday weekend - and we can't blame them. The siblings have taken to their own individual Instagram accounts to share more pictures from what has been dubbed the 'wedding of the century'.

Adam and Ryan were both in attendance as Manchester fashion entrepreneur Umar Kamani tied the knot with love Nada Adelle at a lavish multi-million-pound celebration in the South of France in front of their loved ones which included a string of famous faces and surprise performers.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan was one of two best men alongside James Pryer at the epic three-day wedding with his fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh, brother Scott Thomas and Adam's wife Caroline also celebrating with the happy couple.

The special weekend, held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, was also enjoyed by supermodel Naomi Campbell, footballer Rio Ferdinand and wife Kate, Boyzone star Ronan Keating and boxer Anthony Joshua who joined friends and family of the happy couple to watch them tie the knot in epic proportions.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (May 8), Ryan shared more pictures from the extravagant occasion in which she and Lucy could be seen dressed to impress for Umar and Nada's Indian wedding. He was also seen alongside the newlyweds on best man duties alongside James as they sat among a white floral backdrop.

"Back to our roots," the former soap star, who is known for playing Jason Grimshaw in Corrie, captioned the post alongside the Indian flag emoji. Adam was quick to respond to the post, writing: "Back to our roots haha niceeee," to which Ryan quipped: "…oh & back to reality."

And fans were quick to respond to the post. @joannewraxall said: "Both look amazing. Indian attire is the way forward." @officialnarinderuppal wrote: "Suits you so well!" @woodenyoulove1 commented: "Absolutely stunning, get yourselves to Bollywood." @susanjones7680 added: "It looked like scenes from a spectacular movie, the celebs, the costumes omg id have been in my oils to be a guest. You all looked fab must have cost a small mortgage for all the outfits....but so worth the look."

Others, however, couldn't help but spot Umar's move in one of the snaps as @ann_marie_weightloss said: "Look how he holds your hand," and @rachael_nixo added: "I love how @umarkamani has a tight grip on your hand now there’s a friendship @ryanthomas84."

Meanwhile, Waterloo Road star Adam took to his own Instagram Story and shared a number of images of himself and Caroline enjoying the main wedding ceremony in which Adam could be seen sporting a black suit with a gold-dashed bow tie while his wife stunned in a ruffled black gown which boasted a long train and matched her black hatinator.

Alongside the beautiful images of himself and Carlone enjoying the special occasion, Adam wrote on his Instagram Story: "Still dreaming..." before adding the soundrrack of Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez.
