Ryan Thomas says he 'misses' This Morning star after unlikely duo live it up in Italy

Ryan Thomas told fans he was 'missing' one of the stars of This Morning after they teamed up for an enviable break in Italy. The actor joined presenter Josie Gibson for a sun-soaked trip in June.

The pair joined TUI Lakes for the adventure as they got to explore the best of what was on offer. As they enjoyed their time away together, Ryan and Josie shared plenty of pictures and videos on their Instagram pages.

Sharing a photo at one point during the trip, the TV stars could be seen sitting having a giggle with a stunning view as the backdrop, Josie said: "Not stopped laughing @josiegibson85."

Former Coronation Street star Ryan and presenter Josie documented their activities, which included boat rides on the crystal clear waters, visiting 'hidden gem' bars and tucking into delicious Italian ice creams. They also headed out on Vespas to the top of a mountain where they also found a beautiful open church.

And Josie, 39, gave her fans a giggle when she shared a video of her and Ryan, 40, visiting a local market. The latter had his back to the camera while the This Morning star was heard saying: "Oh my god, they are the biggest plums I've ever seen." She then held up a punnet of the fruit as Ryan folded over as he struggled to contain his giggles.

Captioning the video, Josie wrote: "These Italian Plums are Incredible!!!!! Can't stop laughing with this one! @ryanthomas84 I bloody love you! Dress: @hollandcooperclothing @tuilakes thanks for putting up with us."

Since then, on Friday (June 28), Ryan shared a string of photos and clips of himself and Josie from their time living it up abroad and said: "Loved my time in Italy with @tuilakes Non-stop adventures, activities and laughs with the one and only @josiegibson85 You can use the code RYAN50 for £50 off your TUI Lakes & Mountains holiday right now! #ad."

Ryan, who shot to fame playing Jason Grimshaw in ITV's Corrie, also shared the post to his Instagram Story and said: "Miss my mate @josiegibson85," before adding a red love heart.
