If its forecasts are right, easyJet should report a hike in profit as it updates shareholders on its performance during the financial year on Thursday. Investors, who have cheered the meteoric share price over the last year, will not only look to see if the airline hits its targets for the year, they will also be keen to know what targets it will aim for next year, analysts said. Looking at the share price it could easily look like easyJet has enjoyed little but smooth sailing over the last 12 months. Issue date: Sunday October 8, 2023. PA Photo. See PA story CITY Forecast. Ryanair and easyJet have reminded holidaymakers jetting off to Morocco and Turkey of vital boarding pass information to know for their trips.

It's imperative for travellers to understand not all airlines and airports adhere to the same rules surrounding required documentation. But the latest information released by these budget airlines states that passengers travelling to and from Morocco must secure a hard copy of their boarding passes, as digital versions will not be recognised.

The Ryanair website states: "If you depart from a Moroccan airport, a digital boarding pass will not be accepted. You must carry a physical printout of your boarding pass, and you'll need to present this boarding pass at the Moroccan airport check-in facility."

Access to boarding passes are available under 'My Bookings' on both Ryanair's website and mobile app, Bristol Live reports. Furthermore, the airline pointed out that digital boarding passes aren't just an issue in Morocco, but also in Turkey and Tirana, Albania's capital city.

As for journeys departing from Turkey, while they haven't approved digital boarding passes too, flight check-in could still be done online, just don't forget to bring along a printed copy of the boarding pass.

EasyJet has issued guidance for passengers flying to and from Morocco and Turkey, highlighting: "Due to local regulations in place at Marrakech, mobile boarding passes are not available. You will need to print your boarding pass and go to Bag Drop for a document check, even if you don't have bags to drop off."

The airline also cautioned travellers from Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco who are only carrying cabin bags that they must visit Bag Drop prior to security. Additionally, it noted that enhanced security measures are in effect for flights from Turkey, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, and Egypt to the UK.
