Big Brother wound up its final series on Channel 5 last year, with the broadcaster confirming that the 19th series of the long-running reality show would be the last.

Then last month, the famous Big Brother house at Elstree Studios was demolished, replaced by one of the new sets for the next series of The Crown.

But now Rylan Clark-Neal has set tongues wagging with a cryptic tweet, which seems to suggest that the show could be set to return already.

The host of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side posted a new logo, adding: “The new BBUK twitter has landed follow @BigBrotherUK now x.”

The account also features a message: “This is the new home of Big Brother UK on Twitter. Make sure you give us a follow to keep in touch.”

So far, it’s not known what it all means, but rumours have circulated that another broadcaster could be set to pick up the show.

Rylan, who actually has a Big Brother-style diary room in his house, has also vowed to get the show back on TV, tweeting last month:

The former X-Factor star will next be seen on Celebrity Apprentice, alongside stars including Richard Arnold, Omid Djalili, Amanda Holden and Tameka Empson.
