Rylan Clark-Neal: 'My teenage stepson couldn't care less about my celebrity status' EXCLUSIVE

Rylan Clark-Neal has been one of the nation’s favourite Essex boys ever since he burst onto our screens in 2012’s series of The X Factor – and his career has gone from strength to strength since.

Now an official winner of Celebrity Big Brother and host of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side as well as The Xtra Factor and This Morning, Rylan’s glittering career is nothing to be scoffed at.

However, there is one person that couldn’t care less about his fame and fortune and that is his 16-year-old stepson, Cameron.

Yes, when Rylan tied the knot to husband Dan Neal last year, he gained both a husband and a teenage son, and whilst Rylan’s parenting technique is definitely unique, it sounds as though he couldn’t be a cooler dad.

Speaking exclusively to Yahoo Celeb UK at the Specsaver’s Spectacle Wearer Of The Year Awards, Rylan said of becoming an instant dad: “It was quite scary but the thing with me and Cameron is that there’s 10 years between me and Dan and then 10 years between me and Cameron.

“So I’m the man in the middle and when he tries to get away with something with Dan I’m like: ‘Oi, listen you little pr*ck, I was doing that two years ago so don’t try and pull the wool over my eyes!”

And despite having a much-loved celebrity as his stepdad, Cameron isn’t impressed.

When asked if Cameron liked the glitz and glamour of Rylan’s showbiz life, he told us: “He doesn’t give a s***. He is the most laid-back, couldn’t-give-a-f*** kid.

“He’s not phased by any of it.”

Rylan also revealed that he and Dan are seriously considering having a child of their own in the near future, explaining: “Kids are on the agenda.

“They have always been on mine and I know that Dan would like to as well, I just have to get a few things out of the way, selfishly, first.

“We’d love to have children.”

And considering Rylan’s already had some pretty extensive parenting experience, we reckon he will make an incredible dad.
