Rylan Clark couldn't hide his emotions as he was seen celebrity England's last-minute goal that saw them through to the Euros 2024 final. Gareth Southgate's side even got the royal seal approval after Ollie Watkins sealed their journey to Berlin in the 90th minute on Wednesday night (July 10).

There were joyous scenes as the semi-final match against the Netherlands unfolded after Aston Villa striker Watkins scored the winner to send them through to this Sunday's (July 14) final against Spain.

The Three Lions fell behind after seven minutes to a Xavi Simons strike but a controversial Harry Kane penalty, awarded by VAR, brought the scores level 10 minutes later. Bukayo Saka almost took England ahead but his goal was ruled offside before Watkins was switched for Harry Kane, and Cole Palmer replaced Phil Foden, leading to the eventual match-winner.

Following the confirmation that England are through to their second consecutive Euros final, football fan Rylan took to Instagram with a blurry black and white snap of himself in which he appeared to be shooting in celebration over the dramatic win.

Alongside the post to his millions of followers: "ENGLAND ARE IN THE FINALLLLL." But it was his pal Rob Rinder's response that left his fans in stitches. The TV star wrote in the comments: "I’ve seen that same face before! One expression has such poetic range."

But Rylan was too busy to respond as he tried to figure out if he could make it to Berlin where the England-Spain final will take place. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the BBC Radio 2 star wrote: "Just asking How do I get a ticket to the final Thanks bye."

Meanwhile, Rylan has revealed that he might turn his life into a TV series, as there is so much to go into it. It comes after his book, Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future, which came out in 2022, marked ten years since he became a household name on The X Factor and saw him opening up about his high highs and his very low lows in the spotlight.

The 35-year-old told the Standard: "I mean, there's a lot to go in [a TV adaptation of my life]. Yeah, potentially, but I don't know if I've warranted enough to do that. But who knows what might happen? Never say never."

And he had rather a cheeky response when asked who would play him as it seems no one could do it better than himself. Rylan joked: "Listen, you've got one life. I'd f**king play me. There's money to be earned, Rylan’s taking it."
