Sabrina Carpenter addresses 'weirdness' of working with Kim Kardashian

Sabrina Carpenter has addressed the "weirdness" of working with Kim Kardashian.

The pop singer opened up about working with Taylor Swift's nemesis, with her ad campaign for Kim's Skims lingerie line dropping while Sabrina was touring with Taylor.

Sabrina, 25, was the opening act for Taylor, 34, on the Mexico, South America, Australia, and Singapore legs of her Eras Tour and spoke glowingly about the Welcome to New York hitmaker this week.

"I hold her to such a different echelon. I could never compare my life, my career, my trajectory to anything close to what she's done," Sabrina gushed to Rolling Stone.

"We're very, very verbal with each other about our mutual love and admiration... She played me (her song) But Daddy, I Love Him before it came out."

The singer also acknowledged some fans' confusion over her decision to work with Kim, 43, who has famously been locked in a years-long feud with Taylor over her ex-husband Kanye West's treatment of the pop singer.

"In that scenario, I've been very, very communicative with (Taylor) about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end," Sabrina explained.

"So it was no weirdness for me, but I know people will just say things because that's all they have time to do."
