Sadness as top-rated beauty salon to close as decision made with 'heavy heart'

A top-rated salon which many say they 'loved' will soon be closing for good. Glow Aesthetics and Beauty in Rugby will shut at the end of May.

Glow Aesthetics and Beauty, on Church Street, has been open for five years, but will be closing in a matter of days due to 'increased costs.' Staff said it has been 'impossible to keep the business afloat.'

Employees Zane, Marta, and Amber announced the upcoming closure last week, saying the decision was taken with a 'heavy heart.' A joint statement issued on Facebook said launching during Covid made the journey 'really hard.'

Customers shared their sadness over the upcoming closure of Glow Aesthetics and Beauty, with one saying they were hugely 'disappointed.' Another said they have 'loved' visiting over the years and were 'sad to see them go.'

A spokesman for Glow Aesthetics and Beauty said: “It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing we are having to close at the end of May. Unfortunately, the business is not generating sufficient income to cover its increased costs.

“All at Glow have really tried to make it a success, but unfortunately, with increasing wages, products, and bills, it has been impossible to keep afloat. Lily, Tim, Helen, Zane, Amber, and Marta have worked so hard to find ways to continue the business and we are so sad to close!

“We really appreciate each and every one of you who has visited Glow over the years. Zane, Amber, and Marta have some amazing treatments and product offers to say farewell! We hope you will come and see them and give them the support they need.”
