Sainsbury's and Asda shoppers urged to spend £3 in stores before September

Sainsbury's shoppers who have children have been urged to spend £3 before September - as the cheapest school uniform is named. Sainsbury's, one of the most popular supermarkets in the country, is selling uniform for just £3.

Sainsbury's school uniform items from its Tu clothing range also start from £3 with the price varying depending on the size you need. You can currently get two polo shirts for £3 to £6, one skirt for £5 to £7 and two trousers or two sweatshirts for £7 to £11.

Aldi released its annual £5 school uniform bundle in stores nationwide last Thursday (July 4) and it includes a sweatshirt or cardigan, two polo shirts, plus skirts or shorts. But as this is a Specialbuy, stock is limited.

Lidl also has a £5 school uniform bundle at stores nationwide. The deal consists of two polo shirts and a sweatshirt, and the choice of a pair of trousers, shorts or a skirt. Lidl is also stocking other school essentials including lunch boxes, notebooks and more.

School uniform items from George at Asda start from £3, depending on size, and is available in stores and online. If you're an Asda Reward member, you can currently get £5 off when you spend £25 or more on school uniform in until 11.59pm on this Sunday (July 14).

Tesco shoppers can get school uniform items from its F&F range from £4. Customers can buy packs of three polo shirts starting from £4, two sweatshirts from £5, or two trousers or two skirts from £7.

Morrisons' school uniform range starts from £4.95 and is also only available in stores. Some of the products on offer include three polo shirts for £4.95, two sweatshirts for £7, two skirts for £8 and two trousers for £9, the supermarket giant has explained.
