Yahoo News Sainsbury's shoplifter, cannabis grower and drink driver among latest court appearances
A shoplifter who breached a non-molestation order, an offender who assaulted people at Grimsby Hospital and a man caught cultivating cannabis were all sentenced at Grimsby Magistrates' Court last week.
While some cases were adjourned to be tried at a later date and others sent to Grimsby Crown Court, magistrates in Grimsby still handed out prison sentences, community orders and hefty fines to offenders from across northern Lincolnshire.
Here are some people who have been sentenced at Grimsby Magistrates' Court in recent days.

Kenny Calvert, 28, of Duke Street, Grimsby pleaded guilty to one count of breaching a non-molestation order and seven counts of theft from a shop in which he stole more than £280 worth of items from Sainsbury's. He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.
Alex Rymer, 22, of Dame Kendal Grove, Grimsby pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating, one count of theft from a shop in which he stole £126 worth of fabric conditioner from Heron Foods and one count of criminal damage in which he damaged a shop window belonging to Heron Foods. He was given a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay a £114 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Daniel Perry, 40, of Hope Street, Grimsby pleaded guilty to one count of common assault and one count of assault by beating at Grimsby Hospital. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £50 in compensation.
Simon Feane, 58, of Burnham Road, Owston Ferry indicated a plea of guilty to the cultivation of cannabis. He was ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, a fine of £80 and a £32 victim services surcharge.
Lee Simpson, 30, of East Parade, Brigg pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £26 victim services surcharge.
Wayne Howsham, 39, of Abbots Road, Scunthorpe pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cannabis. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £48 victim services surcharge.
Shaun Marshall, 39, of Mackender Court, Scunthorpe pleaded guilty to driving whilst above the legal alcohol limit. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a £300 fine, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £120 victim services surcharge.
