Salma Hayek Pops in Electric Blue Fringe Dress, Zoe Saldana Dazzles in Margiela Midi Dress for Venice Arts Festival Dinner Party
Salma Hayek and Zoe Saldana touched down in Venice on Wednesday to attend a pre-opening dinner in celebration of the city’s 60th Biennale.
Both actresses opted for strapless silhouettes, with Hayek donning a blue sequined gown lined with sparkling fringe. Hayek, who was accompanied by her husband, Kering’s chief executive officer, François-Henri Pinault, completed her ensemble with black peep-toe platforms and dangle earrings.

Hayek wore her brunette tresses in waves, while her makeup consisted of blue eyeliner, rose gold eye shadow and a soft pink lip.
The actress is frequently styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who also counts Florence Pugh, Priyanka Chopra and Lily James as clients.
Saldana, meanwhile, sported a wool Maison Margiela midi dress from the label’s spring 2024 collection. Her strapless frock featured peekaboo corsetry and a large rosette applique at the hip. The actress accessorized with a cropped oversize jacket, a leather clutch and a pair of Margiela’s trademark Tabis.
Saldana kept her makeup minimal, wearing brown eye shadow and a muted red lip liner.
Stylist Petra Flannery has worked with Saldana for more than five years, styling the starlet at events such as the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the Venice Film Festival. Flannery also dresses A-listers like Reese Witherspoon, Emma Stone and Ellen Pompeo.
Hayek became a brand ambassador for luxury jeweler Pomellato in 2015. She’s also fronted campaigns for Revlon and Avon. The actress has previously ventured into the beauty space, launching her affordable makeup brand Nuance with CVS in 2011.
Saldana has been the face of L’Oréal cosmetics since 2014. She also starred in Calvin Klein’s 2010 campaign for the brand’s women’s underwear line, Envy.
