Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Grant has accused the Duchess of Sussex of "ignoring" their dad on Father's Day.

Ms Grant, who tweets under the name Samantha Markle, paid tribute to "all of the self-sacrificing fathers" on Sunday.... but also used her message to attempt to blame the new Duchess.

She hit out at Meghan over her "PR" plans to visit Thomas Markle after her wedding to Prince Harry at St George's Chapel in Windsor last month.

She wrote: "#HappyFathersDay to all of the self-sacrificing fathers who gave us everything that we are.

"Humanitarians do not ignore their fathers... Meg."

Ms Grant later added: "Maybe a Father's Day visit after the PR stunt said a visit would happen, would be appropriate. Ya think?

“If you’re so worried about Dad, demonstrate it.”

The Duchess attended the wedding of Prince Harry's cousin Celia McCorquodale at St Andrew and St Mary’s Church in Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire on Father’s Day.

Pictures showed Harry and Meghan all smiles as they arrived at the country church with other guests.

One month after her big day, the Duchess stepped out in a long-sleeved blue-and-white paisley wrap dress and white fascinator.

Ms McCorquodale is the younger daughter of Diana, Princess of Wales' sister Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
