Santa gets Celtic redemption with Trophy Day presentation as Saint Nick jeers turn to cheers

Santa Claus made a shock appearance at Parkhead as the presented the Celtic stars with the Scottish Premiership trophy.

The man himself was BACK at Parkhead this afternoon to HUGE cheers as he brought on the Scottish Premiership trophy ahead of the players getting their hands on the title after a five-goal thriller with St Mirren to round the league campaign off on a high. Emotions were in the air for Joe Hart who signs off from Glasgow's east end - with just a big one at Hampden to come.

He was set to be the star of the show today, however, one man may well just pip him to that title. Supporters were so sickened with what they witnessed from their team during the home defeat to Hearts earlier in the campaign that they took it out on Santa, who failed to bring the club any festive cheer during a half-time appearance. However, it was a full circle moment in the sunshine in Glasgow he walked out to huge applause and milked every single moment.
