Satellite Imagery Shows Severe Storms Crossing Central US

Severe storms swept across the Central Plains on Sunday night, May 19, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a warning of severe thunderstorms advancing into the Midwest on Monday, May 20.

Imagery from the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) captures the storm system crossing through the region overnight from Sunday to Monday.
