Satellite Shows Winter Storm Moving East Over US

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellites captured the widespread winter storm system moving across the United States on Thursday, February 23.

The NOAA said the “coast-to-coast storm” was producing “widespread heavy snow and blizzard conditions across portions of the West and the Northern Plains,” while authorities issued ice and winter storm warnings from “the Rockies to the Great Lakes.” Credit: NOAA Satellites via Storyful
