Saturday Night Takeaway fans love 'chaos' of new Little Ant and Dec
Ant and Dec introduced their latest tiny pranksters to ITV viewers as Saturday Night Takeaway returned.
What did you miss?
The final series — for now — of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway debuted this week, introducing a brand new incarnation of Little Ant and Dec. The original duo appeared on the show between 2003 and 2006, carrying out unruly and entertaining interviews with Hollywood A-listers. They were then replaced by another pair of youngsters between 2013 and 2018.
Fans immediately took to the third Little Ant and Dec, enjoying their unique sense of anarchy as they appeared on the sofa for a chat with their older counterparts.
What, how and why?
The newest Little Ant and Dec immediately hopped, skipped, and jumped their way on to the stage with boundless energy. This suggests they'll be more than a match for their interviewees, producing some great moments.
Six-year-old Little Ant immediately declared that Big Ant has a "big forehead" and proved more talkative than the five-year-old Little Dec, who spent most of the segment distracted by his own image on the studio TV screens.
Viewers watching at home were impressed with the "pure chaos" the kids managed to bring to the show with just a few minutes of screen time.

Little Ant and Dec will now begin their run of interview segments, starting on next week's show with Wicked Little Letters star Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley. Hollywood isn't going to know what's hit it.
The duo even asked how much they'll get paid for their work, quipping: "Is it as much as you two?"
What else happened on Saturday Night Takeaway?
Elsewhere on the first episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant and Dec carried out an ambitious Stateside prank on Simon Cowell, as well as giving the entire audience a free holiday as part of one of their biggest ever giveaways.
In the "End of the Show Show", Becky Hill performed a medley of songs, while Stephen Merchant made waves as the celebrity guest announcer. In one shocking moment, he made a brutal quip about Simon Cowell's history of plastic surgery.
After the Undercover segment, Merchant said: "That was my Simon impression. It wasn't very convincing because my face moved."
