Yahoo News Saturday Night Takeaway's Ant and Dec in Love Island recoupling skit
Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway featured a Love Island crossover this evening (March 23).
The latest guest announcer was Maya Jama, who replaced Laura Whitmore as the reality dating show's host in 2022, and in a playful twist, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were thrown into a recoupling situation.
"Oh! Oh! I've got a text!" shouted Ant as Love Island's synonymous text tone sounded out. "Hold on, it says: 'Ant, get ready for a recoupling #AntsGotBants #AllHandsOnDec.'"

The camera then cut back to Maya in her announcer's booth. "Well actually I've got some news for you boys, the recoupling is happening right now... Ant, you have to decide if you're going to stay with Dec or recouple with someone else," she revealed.
"Well Dec, I've loved the time we've had together right," said Ant rather sheepishly. "I think you're a really special person but I have thought about being with other presenters...".
His longtime colleague theatrically replied: "Are you mugging me off you absolute melt? Are you?! I have been grafting for weeks. Am I giving you the ick, is that it? Is that what it is?"

After being told by Maya that she needed his final decision, Ant responded: "Well Maya, my head's been turned! I don't know what to do!
"But I do know when I'm onto a good thing so the boy I want to recouple with is... it's Dec!"
Maya, who recently presented the BRIT Awards alongside Roman Kemp and Clara Amfo, went on to joke: "Amazing news! The Hideaway is now open, off you go!"
Reacting to her suggestion – the Hideaway is a private room for Love Island couples – the Takeaway co-host said: "Wow, wow, wow... Hideaway? I've changed my mind!"
Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway continues next Saturday (March 30) on ITV.
