Scarecrow sports stars take over Doddington ahead of village carnival day

Doddington Village Sports and Carnival takes place this Saturday (July 6) but ahead of that, local families, schools and organisations have been busy making impressive scarecrow displays.

The Doddington Beavers and Doddington Guides are among the groups who have put their creativity to the test.

The winners will be judged this week and the first, second and third prize will be announced on Saturday afternoon at the sports field.
