The schools and teachers they chose showcase the best educational practices across the sector across 21 award categories, covering all areas of school education.

Bill Sawyer, head of Yarm Prep, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious national award for our school and our partnerships work.

I am proud of the pupils and teachers at Yarm who make our partnerships possible, as well as the schools and organisations we partner with.

“Since 2022, we have taken our activities on the road which has meant all our partner schools can access them regardless of budgetary or time constraints. Our VR workshops are led by Prep pupils and they relish the role of facilitator sharing their knowledge and teaching other pupils.”
