Schoolgirl attacked by 'gang of 13 girls' as mum praises 'angel in disguise'
A mum has thanked a kind-hearted stranger who stepped in after her daughter was allegedly attacked.
The mum claimed her 12-year-old daughter was "jumped by a gang of girls" on the New Chester Road in Bromborough at around 5.20pm on Sunday, May 5. Posting on local Facebook group - Crimewatch Wirral - the mum added the gang included around 13 girls.
She said a passer-by witnessed the attack and stepped in to help her daughter.

The mum said: "A passer-by who had seen my girl being attacked helped my daughter. She got her to safety and contacted the police, while the gang started to abuse this women.
"My daughter didn’t get this lady's name, so I hope she is on here."
The mum shared the incident on social media in the hopes of finding the kind-hearted stranger. She added the incident "could have ended up in a different situation" if she hadn't been there.
She said: "I’d just like to say a huge thank you for protecting my daughter and staying with her until help arrived. She is doing ok despite the fact five to six of the girls kept kicking her head and face, literally stamping on her head.
"Once again thank you so much as it could have ended up in a different situation if my daughter wasn’t saved by you. It was nice to hear that someone was brave enough to stand up to these gangs as many would of walked on by.
"Whoever you are your my daughters angel in disguise Thank you so much."
Many people sent well wishes to the woman's daughter and also praised the good Samaritan who helped her. One person said: "Hope your daughter is OK and can get through this awful trauma bless her.
"Whoever the lady is who helped her well done to her such a kind and brave thing to do in this crazy world we’re living in right now. I hope you find her, as you said a true guardian angel."
Another person added: "That lady deserves an award, I hope you discover who she is. I hope daughter makes a good recovery and has counselling for this trauma."
