Scotland vs Switzerland poignant tribute to Glasgow dad who died in Euros tragedy

Tributes have been paid to Scotland fan Colin King during tonight's clash against Switzerland.

The 57-year-old tragically died in his sleep during a trip to Germany to support Scotland at the Euros. Described as a "wonderful guy", he was found dead in his bed after a day of exploring Dusseldorf.

Colin's heartbroken family asked fans to come together in celebration of the Glasgow dad's life. Fans stood side by side as they delivered a poignant standing ovation at today's (Wednesday June 19) game.

Scotland National Team took to X to pay tribute to the much-loved dad.

They wrote: "A tremendous ovation in the stadium from the Scotland fans to remember Colin King, who sadly passed away last week.

"Our thoughts are with Colin's loved ones right now."
