Scots cops appeal for info after man vanishes from city over the weekend

Police have appealed to the public for information after a man was reported missing in Edinburgh. Robert Dickson was last seen in the city on Saturday afternoon.

The 35-year-old has not been seen since he was spotted in Halmyre Street at around 12.30pm on May 4, 2024. Police Scotland say he is around 5ft 6ins tall, with short, light brown hair.

He also wears glasses, is described as being of slim to medium build, and was wearing brown boots, dark trousers and a grey tracksuit top when he was last seen.

The force says he also has access to a red Vauxhall Corsa with registration plate SM10 PDU and that enquiries are ongoing to trace him. as concerns are growing for his welfare.

Officers are appealing to anyone who has seen Robert or who has any information on his whereabouts to get in touch. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 4067 of May 4, 2024.
