A former Scots comedian was fined £300 today after he was caught driving while intoxicated.

Ronnie Park, 50, was snared on Glasgow's Baillieston Main Street on March 12, 2023.

Court papers state that Park was behind the wheel of a black Volkswagen T-Roc when unfit to drive through drink or drugs.

The ex-Clackmannanshire council social worker was previously caught with eight indecent images of children.

The sick haul of kids aged between six months and 11 years old were held on two mobile phones between 2017 and 2019.

Park sent five of the pictures to friends and suggested “black humour” and "shock value" were behind his actions.

He was ordered to do 270 hours of unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to the charge in 2020.

The former local DJ was also put under supervision and the sex offenders register for two years.

Park pleaded guilty today at Glasgow Sheriff Court to his latest charge.

No circumstances of the offence were heard by Sheriff Daniel Kelly who went straight to sentencing.

Sheriff Kelly disqualified Park, of Baillieston, from driving for one year as well as the fine.
