Scots locals left stunned as Alan Carr spotted in Fife town filming Netflix show

Scots locals have been left stunned after spotting comedian and actor Alan Carr in a Fife town as the star films a new Netflix show.

Owner of award-winning artisan tablet company, Sharron Convery was in Cullross on May 9 when she saw Alan Carr and shouted to him, she was then delighted when he turned posing for a picture.

The Chatty Man host was on an autumnal-themed set in the east Fife town filming for the upcoming show Peter.

He can be seen wearing bright orange trousers and a red waistcoat surrounded by bright orange pumpkins.

Sharon Convery of fab local tablet company 'All that's Delicious' got a fantastic reaction from Alan when they shouted at him to smile for the camera.

She said: "Best Hello ever, Alan Carr is filming 'Peter' for Netflix. I shouted over 'smile' and this was his reply" as the comedian turned and posed for the local.

Resident Tim Collins confirmed that stars of the show had been spotted in the village and told Dunfermline Press, "This is the one they’re calling Peter.

“Locally, it’s known as Peter and they had all this stuff set up in the village green."

He added: “They had an old-fashioned helter-skelter, a wee stage, lots of market stalls and candy stripe market stalls.

“They did a lot of stuff around the area to decorate Culross for how they wanted it and apparently, they’re moving up to Mercat Cross to do some stuff there.”
