Scots woman caught with over £30k worth of drugs in property jailed for 27 months

A woman has been jailed for 27 months after being caught with over £30K worth of drugs in Perth.

Laura Dobson, 43, was sentenced following a Police Scotland drugs operation in Perth that saw Class A drugs recovered from a property.

Cocaine and cannabis with a combined estimated street value of £33,000 was seized.

Dobson appeared at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday.

Detective Sergeant Mark Wilson said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and officers will do all they can to bring those responsible for the supply of illegal substances to justice.

“Anyone with concerns or information about drugs should contact Police Scotland on 101 or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
