Scots woman in wheelchair vanished one day ago as cops 'increasingly concerned

A frantic search has been launched in an effort to trace a Scots women in a wheelchair who vanished over 24-hours ago.

Officers say Yvonne Thomson, 34, has been reported missing from Edinburgh and was last seen on Thursday, July,4, in the Crewe Road area in the north of the city.

Yvonne is described as having orange hair, with a septum piercing. Police are 'concerned' for her welfare and urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact them.

Inspector Ross Nicol said: “Yvonne was spoken to around 7.20am today but we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are seeking the help of the public in tracing her.

"Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1409 of Friday, 5 July, 2024.”
