Scott and Kelley Wolf are celebrating a major anniversary!

On Wednesday, May 29, the Nancy Drew star shared a sweet message for his longtime love on Instagram to celebrate being married for 20 years.

"20 years ago today, we began our wedded journey together. 20 years later, with our three beautiful children, several generations of fur babies, and what feels like a lifetime of adventures and experiences together, I love you now more than ever," he wrote in the caption.

The post featured four photos of the couple. The first shows the pair posing similarly, except one was captured more recently and the other is a black-and-white image from the past. The last two photos are from their wedding day.

"As blessed as we have been and are, we have surely been tested these last few years. You continue to be the force of light and love and life that makes it all make sense," Scott added. "You are the rock of our family, and even when pushed beyond what sometimes even feels possible, you have always found a way to hold on to who you truly are, and who and what you love the most."

Scott continued to share his love for Kelley, expressing that he is "inspired" by her.

"I am beyond grateful that you chose to walk this life with me. Happy 20th Anniversary @kelleywolf. May our lights continue to shine together forever," Scott concluded.

Kelley, who starred in the reality TV show The Real World: New Orleans, shared a sentimental message to her husband as well.

Looking back on their relationship over two posts, the life coach opened up about a moment when she was ready to end their engagement because she felt herself returning to "toxic" patterns from her past. "My amazing fiancé was doing little things to poke at me, challenge me, it was almost like he was looking for a reason to find fault in what was a truly magical connection," she wrote on Instagram, referring to her relationship with Scott.

"I was scrambling to make myself more accommodating, less aggravating, whatever it was that seem [sic] to be pushing him away. And then I woke up one morning and said 'wait a minute' I’ve done this game before and I’m not doing this again," she said.

Kelley recalled telling her now-husband: "I love you. I love you more than I’ve ever loved anybody. I almost loved you enough to stop loving myself. But I remembered that nothing in life is going to last if I leave myself behind. I can see the future of that scenario and one day you’ll wake up and wonder what happened to that girl and I won’t even remember who she was. Well, I had promised her that I would never ever leave her again. so when you’re ready, I’ll be here, but I will not stick around while somebody tries to excavate fault in me."

Scott stopped her before she could leave and said, "Let’s do this hard part, the uncomfortable part. The part where I have to look in the mirror and see my old pattern where I have tried to find fault in somebody in the hopes that I would prove that nobody can really do the hard stuff and stick around.”

Kelley added, "And that day, I won’t go into all the details, but we went into the cave. Together. And when we came out, you couldn’t find two people more bonded, more connected, and more clear about the promise we were about to make to each other."

She went on to say their wedding day felt like "Magic. Truth. Love and HOPE."

Now, looking back, she views that conversation as one that "set the stage for so many things." She ended her post with, "There is one thing we both learned that day, you have to be willing to love yourself the most to truly love somebody else, the most. And yes, like all amazing love stories, we continue to choose the power of love, over and over."

In 2022, Scott and Kelley spoke with PEOPLE about the secret to their long marriage, which they say is communication. "I feel so lucky to be with someone who can recognize when something needs to be aired out," said the Party of Five alum. "I'm always open to a conversation. And I knew in my guts that Kelley was going to be an incredible partner and mom and friend, but to see her grow and thrive and be a part of her life, it's the most valuable thing in the world."
