Search under way after man, 60, vanishes in village

A 60-year-old man is missing from a village on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.

John Crook, of Santon Downham, left his home this morning and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

John is white, 6ft tall, of athletic build, with tanned skin.

He is bald and has a trimmed beard.

When last seen, he was wearing navy tracksuit bottoms, walking boots and a grey fleece jacket.

He might be wearing a hat.

Officers are concerned for John’s welfare and would like to hear from anyone who might have seen him or knows of John’s current whereabouts.

Anyone with any information about John’s whereabouts should contact police on 101, quoting incident number NC-15062024-284.
