You season 2 on Netflix is bringing back one character in a big way
Note: This article contains big spoilers for Netflix's You.
Netflix show You is bringing back Ambyr Childers as a series regular for its second season.
The actress plays Joe Goldberg's (Penn Badgley) ex-girlfriend Candace, who viewers – as well as Joe – believed to be dead before the end of that shocking season one finale.
Candace only appeared in four episodes the first time around, but being bumped to series regular status will see her get more screen-time in the forthcoming second season.
Which makes sense, given that most of the season one regulars are already dead...

You is based on the novel of the same name by Caroline Kepnes and in her version, Candace is very much dead at the end of the first book.
Speaking about the decision to change the ending and resurrect the character on-screen, You executive producer Sera Gamble previously told The Hollywood Reporter: "We knew we were going to start flashing back to Candace, as Caroline does in the book.
"We just wanted to do something more surprising and [we also realised] that she was such a substantial and interesting character."

Joining Badgley and Childers as series regulars for season two will be The Haunting of Hill House actress Victoria Pedretti, who plays Joe's new love interest, Love Quinn.
Other new You season two cast members include Heathers actor James Scully, who will play Love's brother Forty, and Jane the Virgin actress Jenna Ortega, who stars as a cunning teenager named Ellie.
You airs on Netflix.
