You season 2 star Robin Lord Taylor says his new character is "incredibly good at reading people"

From Digital Spy

Earlier this year it was announced that Gotham star Robin Lord Taylor has signed up for a role in season 2 of Netflix's You, playing an intelligent and unique character named Will.

We learned that he has to tolerate some unsavoury folks as part of his job and "marches to the beat of his own drummer".

Now, with that series set to drop in less than three weeks, the former Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot actor has been revealing a bit more about his character.

"He's incredibly good at reading people," he told Entertainment Tonight.

He added: "He has an intuitiveness and empathy about him that I think he uses very effectively."

Season 2 of You will see Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) leave New York City and relocate to Los Angeles. There, he'll meet a potential new victim played by The Haunting of Hill House's Victoria Pedretti. How will this bring him into with Will? Well, if that was revealed already there'd be no point in watching the show.

Robin will debut a new hairdo in You, having shaved off his dyed-black Penguin locks before filming. He said that he has enjoyed being recognised by less people, but knows that will come to an end once You returns.

He joked: "From what I hear, the show is pretty popular and people are pretty obsessed with it, so I would say I'm completely in denial about the entire thing."

You season 2 lands on Netflix on December 26.
