All the seats the Tories have held onto despite Labour Party landslide win
All the seats the Conservative Party have held despite a landslide loss to Labour Party at the General Election can be revealed. Former home secretary Suella Braverman has won re-election in Fareham and Waterlooville.
She is likely to run for the Tory leadership if, as expected, Rishi Sunak resigns in the wake of the Tories' showing tonight. Education Secretary Gillian Keegan has lost her Chichester seat, becoming the latest cabinet minister to fall.
The Liberal Democrats have won it with a majority of 12,172 votes. Chief whip Simon Hart has also lost his seat of Caerfyrddin in Wales to Plaid Cymru. He has tumbled down to third place, behind the Labour Party.

Labour is on 134 so far after picking up a sweep of seats from the Tories in the last hour - while the Conservatives are on 20 and Lib Dems on 16. There are, of course, hundreds more seats to be declared - but Keir Starmer looks on course to win a historic victory. An updated BBC exit poll has forecast his party to pick up 405 seats.
Speaking at his count in Camden, Mr Starmer said: “Tonight, people here and around the country have spoken and they're ready for change, to end the politics of performance, a return to politics as public service. The change begins right here, because this is your democracy, your community, and your future. You have voted. It is now time for us to deliver.”
The Labour leader appeared emotional as he paid tribute to his wife and children. “I have to thank Vic and my family more than anyone for their love and support and for keeping me totally grounded,” he said.
