The VMAs are back — and live from New Jersey! See all your favorite pop stars hitting the red carpet

It's time for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards!

The annual show is kicking off Tuesday night, Sept. 12, from Newark, New Jersey, and per usual, promises wild moments, surprise celebs and amazing performances.

Before the show begins, see the stars arriving on the red carpet at the Prudential Center.

The 2023 MTV VMAs are airing live on CBS and BET, BET Her, VH1, Comedy Central, CMT, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon and Paramount Network. Viewers can also catch the show through an MTV.com live stream or on Paramount+.
